I think of a show less as a presentation and more as an invitation. I bring a song. You bring your history, humor, attention, silence—and whatever the day has left in you. Together we make a moment none of us could make alone.
SOMETIMES SILENT. SOMETIMES ROWDY.
The best rooms have room for both. A lyric lands and everything gets still. A story breaks the tension. Somebody laughs. The whole place opens up. What happens next belongs to everyone who showed up.
I want people to arrive as guests, become part of the room, and leave talking about something they recognized in themselves.

Performing at Club Cumming has given me a place to try new work in front of a live room—to hear what changes when a song leaves the studio and meets people. Every audience brings its own energy and point of view. The exchange changes the songs, changes the room, and inevitably changes me.
Come in as you are. There should always be another chair.
